Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an indictment was sent to the court against a citizen of Ukraine for justifying and recognizing as legitimate the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorifying its participants (parts 2, 3 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, a resident of Lviv Oblast repeatedly distributed anti-Ukrainian posts on his own page in the banned Odnoklassniki social network. In particular, publications glorified and glorified the Russian occupiers.
Ukrainians were also called “neo-Nazis” in popular materials, and the occupiers were wished victory.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
