The prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office found the Nikopol native guilty of justifying, recognizing as legitimate, denying the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and glorifying its participants (part 2 of article 436-2, part 3 of article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) for maintaining a public accusation.
She was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.
Prosecutors proved in court that the convicted woman actively supported the country of the aggressor on social networks and justified the full-scale war against Ukraine started by it. And also spread other typical narratives of Russian propaganda.
In particular, a 44-year-old woman published posts in which she accused Ukraine of killing civilians in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions for 8 years.
The convicted woman will remain in custody until the verdict becomes final.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by the investigators of the SBU Office in the Lviv region.
