The attempt to illegally import goods under the guise of humanitarian aid was stopped according to the operatives of the Lviv border detachment.
The 23-year-old from Ivano-Frankivsk arrived in Ukraine through the “Krakivets” checkpoint in a MAN truck.
According to the documents submitted for inspection, the vehicle was used to transport medical supplies for one of the charitable organizations. However, during the inspection, the border guards together with the customs officials discovered goods, information about which is missing in the documents.
Among the humanitarian aid, the truck driver tried to illegally move new clothes and shoes with a total weight of 500 kg.
According to this fact, the customs officials drew up a protocol. The goods, the value of which is set, are withdrawn in the established order.
