With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the woman supported Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. However, not waiting for the arrival of the “liberators” and realizing the successes of the Ukrainian military at the front, she decided to leave for Poland.

A 43-year-old native of Nikopol was following a regular bus through the checkpoint “Krakivets”. During the inspection of her pages in social networks, operatives found a number of posts testifying to her pro-Russian views and support for Russia’s armed aggression. In particular, the woman actively spread calls to support the leadership of Russia and the military, which “liberate the peaceful population from the Nazis.”

The law enforcement officers collected a sufficient evidence base and informed the perpetrator of the suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2, 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants.”

According to the decision of the Halytsky District Court of Lviv, a preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for the person involved in the criminal proceedings.

Actions to stop illegal activities were carried out by operatives of the Lviv border detachment together with SBU officers in the Lviv region under the procedural guidance of the Lviv regional prosecutor’s office.
