Yesterday, September 19, the Lviv Regional Council autonomized the work of some health care institutions.
In particular, by joining the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, the Lviv Regional Pathological Bureau and the Lviv Regional Rehabilitation Hospital No. 3 in Sosnivka.
“Such an association is extremely important so that medical facilities do not lose funding from the state budget. The institution in Sosnivka provides rehabilitation services, it is possible to develop children’s rehabilitation. As for the patho-anatomical bureau, the union with the supra-cluster regional hospital makes it possible to preserve the institution as an expert center for intra-life and post-mortem diagnosis of diseases and to develop it as a diagnostic base,” said Mykhailo Hychka, Acting General Director of LOKL.
Also, the decision of the regional council was to create a single center of children’s medicine by uniting the Lviv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital “OKHMATDYT” and the West Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center.
According to Roman Kizyma, Acting the director of the Medical Center of the Medical Center, this is a difficult decision that requires many changes, but doctors are ready for them, because the strategic possibilities of a single powerful center exceed all risks, and support will give hospitals the opportunity to develop. The Center for Children’s Medicine will become the only supracluster children’s hospital of the Lviv region in a capable network and will provide medical assistance to children in 28 directions.
