Chervonograd Industrial Park is included in the Register of Industrial Parks. This decision was made on April 2 during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Chervonograd Industrial Park was created as part of the project of fair transformation of coal regions, which is supported by our German partners as part of the GIZ project “Fair transformation of coal regions and green recovery of the energy sector of Ukraine”. Currently, with the support of the Government of Germany and local budgets, complex design and costing documentation is being developed for the development of the engineering and transport infrastructure of the industrial park.
According to the concept of the industrial park “Chervonograd” on an area of more than 63 hectares, about 3,250 jobs in the processing industry will be created. In particular, investors are expected to start production of food products, furniture, paper and paper products, non-metallic mineral products, finished metal products, machinery and equipment, motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and other vehicles. The creation of woodworking enterprises and the manufacture of wood and cork products is also envisaged. On the territory of the park, scientific and technical research will be carried out, laboratories will work, including for independent confirmation of the quality of raw materials and finished products.
The configuration of the park provides for the future use of the territory of the tericon of the former mine, which can become a pilot project for Ukraine for the revitalization of tericons and their use for the needs of the community.
The volume of received donor funds is more than UAH 10 million. The total investments planned for the development of the Chervonograd industrial park for the next three years should amount to over UAH 1.5 billion.
