The first night away from home: 30 residents of destroyed buildings spent the night in a modular town, three more in a hotel

The city of Lviv resettled the victims of yesterday’s rocket attack in modular houses and hotels. 29 people, 11 families, settled in a modular town in Stryi Park.

For this purpose, houses were quickly preserved in the city, because this town was closed for more than half a year. Another person wanted to settle in the town of Sykhov. Three residents spent the night in the “Knyazhy Lviv” hotel, which is attached to the Lviv College.

“Yesterday, all residents were offered several options for temporary accommodation. Everyone chose the location that suited them best. Today, we are also working on options for the residents’ further residence. We will work with everyone individually so that all those left without a roof over their heads get it and can survive this difficult time,” says Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.

It will be recalled that 10 people died as a result of yesterday’s Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Lviv. Another 48 received injuries and wounds of varying severity. Of them, 6 remain in city hospitals for treatment. More than 35 buildings were destroyed in Lviv, two are in critical condition, approximately 60 apartments and a dozen dormitories were destroyed. More than 1000 windows need to be replaced. 64 cars were damaged.
