Yuriy Ruf (Yuriy Dadak, 1980 – 2022) is a Ukrainian poet, publisher, screenwriter, founder of the conceptual literary project “Spirit of the Nation”, which became influential in the right-wing nationalist environment. One of the ideologues of Ukrainian offensive nationalism and the military rock scene. Rifleman of the 24th Brigade of the King Danylo ZSU. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was a volunteer at the front. He fought in the Luhansk Region as part of the Lviv 24th Brigade. Died from enemy mortar shelling on April 1, 2022. On April 9, 2022, he was buried with due honors at the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.
