On the eve of Christmas, January 6, at 8:00 p.m., the employees of the Center for Registration and Night Stay of Homeless Persons will set the Christmas dinner table for people who receive services at this institution. So about fifty people who, due to various life circumstances, do not have a home, will be able to taste traditional Ukrainian dishes together.
“The Christmas dinner will begin with a joint prayer, and at the end there will definitely be carols. As every year, the dinner will consist of dishes traditional for the Ukrainian table. There will definitely be kutia, fried fish, herring, borscht, dumplings, mushroom gravy, donuts and uzvar,” the Accounting Center said.
Public organizations, philanthropists and entrepreneurs traditionally help the Center’s employees in organizing the dinner: for which the institution is very grateful to them. This year, by the way, volunteers from the Corporation of Good Deeds joined in the preparation of the dinner. They also prepared festive gifts for each participant of the dinner. Everyone will receive a package with a surprise.
The Christmas dinner at the Center for registration and overnight stay of homeless people has been prepared for many years in a row: this year it will be held for the fourteenth time.
