Lvivsvitlo repair crews replaced emergency street lighting networks on Mykhailo Verbytskoho Street.
They also installed economical LED lamps, which will reduce electricity consumption by 5 times and increase the amount of light on the streets by 2 times.
“On Mykhailo Verbytskoho Street, our employees replaced the stretch marks and lamps, installed economical LED lamps, and replaced the aluminum wire with a self-supporting insulated SIP, which guarantees a reduction in the likelihood of a short circuit between the conductors due to the insulation of each conductor,” Lvovsvitlo explained.
As a reminder, Lviv is gradually implementing a concept to modernize street lighting. Lvivsvіtlo is replacing sodium lamps with modern LED lamps.
More than 200 old lamps have already been replaced with new ones in different parts of the city. As a result, we can see from real-life examples that energy savings have decreased and the streets have more light.
