Another 8 memorial plaques to Ukrainian defenders will be installed in the city. 6 plaques will be installed on the facades of educational institutions, and two more will be installed on residential buildings. This decision was supported at a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council today, March 19.
According to the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the Lviv City Council, the memorial plaques meet the standards approved in the area.
Thus, the following memorial plaques will appear in Lviv:
1. Roman Bazhan – Secondary school No. 1 in Lviv. Lviv;
2. Petro Havryliv – Lviv Gymnasium “Prestige” with in-depth study of foreign languages;
3. Volodymyr Herasymliuk – a residential building;
4. Ihor Gordon – a residential building;
5. Andriy Kyrych – Lyceum No. 94 of the Lviv City Council;
6. Yuriy Sikyrynsky – Lviv Gymnasium “Prestige” with in-depth study of foreign languages;
7. Dmytro Sydoruk – Municipal Institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Professional College of Sports”;
8. Vasyl Sushchuk – Lyceum No. 94 of the Lviv City Council.
As a reminder, Lviv has a special procedure for installing memorial plaques to the defenders of Ukraine in accordance with the approved model. The plaque can be installed on the educational institution where the soldier studied or on the house where he lived.
