According to the National Fencing Federation, the champions in the team championship were the owners of the track – Lviv women Ksenia Panteleeva and Yulia Svystil, who the day before stood on the podium in individual competitions, as well as Daria Sadova and world vice-champion among cadets Anna Maksimenko.
In the final of the match, the Lviv fencers defeated Kyiv-1, which included the champion of Ukraine in the individual competition Feiby Bezhura, as well as Inna Brovko, Olena Kryvytska and Daria Varfolomeeva.
In the individual event, 31-year-old Kyiv resident Feiby Bezhura won, Ksenia Panteleeva from Lviv won silver, Olena Kryvytska, a representative of the capital, won bronze, sharing the third place with the host of the tournament Yulia Svystil.
Lyudmila Gaidai, Maria Voloshina, Polina Kuleshova and Yulia Mukoid from Kyiv became the strongest in the team championship of Ukraine among students. Zlata Hayduk, Anna Maksimenko and Daria Sadova from Lviv became the silver medalists. The bronze was won by the second Lviv team consisting of Alina Dmytruk, Elizaveta-Olga Korniychuk, Polina Spiridonova and Sofia Stognii.
Earlier in Lviv, the championship of Ukraine in rapier fencing among men ended with team competitions. The owners of the track, Claude Yunes and Danyil Hoyda, who the day before won gold in the individual championship, together with Maksym Haravskyi and Taras Lyuty, climbed to the highest step of the podium.
