The 1st round of the Championship of Ukraine in target shooting took place on the basis of the shooting range of the Lviv Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery.
67 athletes from 7 regions and the city of Kyiv competed for the awards. The lion’s share of the awards went to representatives of the Lviv region.
On the round stand, two representatives of the Lviv region rose to the podium – Georgy Ipatov, who won gold, and Andriy Kobzaruk, who took second place. In the women’s category of this discipline, the bronze award was won by Oleksandra Bartysheva, who is training in the Lviv Region with the beginning of a full-scale invasion. A girl from Kharkiv region. Among juniors and juniors, Lviv sportsmen Markiyan Moshkovskyi and Bozhena Ivanyshyn won silver medals.
In the women’s shooting competition on the trench stand, all three prizes were won by women from Lviv. The first place was won by Nadia Bulgakova, the second place was won by Olena Okhotska, and the third place was won by Victoria Mykhailiukova.
In the men’s category, Oleksandr Bilko took first place, and his teammate Andriyan Kobzaruk took third place. Tamara Beresneva took second place among juniors.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration, the Shooting Federation of Ukraine and the Lviv Region, the Lviv Regional School of Higher Sports Excellence. The second round of the championship will also take place in Lviv. Lviv region will meet the best masters of bench shooting at the beginning of June.
