Since the war in Ukraine, a large number of IDPs have been arriving in Lviv. Among them are children and people with disabilities. At the initiative of the city at the railway station from the staff of the Center “Source” and partner organizations formed a unit to help such persons. Such assistance is provided around the clock.
“At the initiative of the city, the specialists of our Dzherelo Center have been working at the railway station for more than a week and helping children and people with disabilities who come to Lviv from cities affected by hostilities. They meet children and adults with disabilities, drivers have night shifts and help transport such migrants.
Our employees help to move and get to the border, or to the district administration, or to the Arena “Lviv”. It is possible to wait, eat and use the bathroom.
Yes, we only worked during the day for a week, and since yesterday we have been working around the clock, ”said Zoreslava Lyulchak, head of the Dzherelo Center.
It will be recalled that there are 7 coordination centers in Lviv, where IDPs can apply, register, receive temporary accommodation, necessary equipment and other assistance:
