The attempt to illegally move Apple phones across the border was stopped at the Sheghini checkpoint, according to border guards of the operative and investigative unit.
Seven residents of Lviv Oblast, aged from 40 to 73 years, followed to Ukraine through the crossing on foot. During the control, the citizens certified that they do not have prohibited goods and those that are subject to mandatory declaration. During the implementation of the information, operatives of the Lviv border detachment decided to check the women more thoroughly.
During a joint inspection with customs officers, the border guards found 31 iPhone 13 phones in total. Our local women tried to move the gadgets by hiding them under outerwear and among personal belongings.
According to this fact, the customs officials drew up a report. The goods are removed in the established order, their value is established.
