The flour was donated to the “Caritas” Charitable Fund of the Sambir-Drogobyt Diocese of the UGCC for the needs of IDPs who live and volunteer in the shelters of the local “Caritas”
Tons of grain were transferred thanks to the efforts of Kernel, the largest producer and exporter of sunflower oil in Ukraine. In addition, BF “Kolo” and the Drohobytsk District Military Administration joined in helping with the transfer of flour.
Bakery products, pastries and other goodies baked in the social cafe “Vytania”, which operates under the “Caritas” BF, are made from flour, which was recently donated to the needs of the community.
According to the social workers of the center, the flour serves not only for cooking and the needs of IDPs, but also for those who find themselves in difficult circumstances – the homeless, low-income families, children from disadvantaged families.
At the same time, master classes on baking pizza and other dough products are periodically held in “Vytaniya”, and the basis for training and cooking is flour, which Drohobytska RVA in partnership with the company “Kernel” and BF “Kolo” transferred, so that in the conditions of a full-scale war to provide food for the inhabitants of Drohobychchyna.
