A modern children’s interactive space was opened in the children’s library of the city of Yavorov
On March 16, the opening of a modern children’s interactive space took place in the city of Yavoriv. The implementation of the project took place thanks to the MBO BF “SOS Children’s Town” Ukraine. Such rooms of BF “SOS Children’s Villages of Ukraine” were arranged in 8 other cultural institutions of the Lviv region.
An interactive children’s table was installed in the library, where children can play math, English, learn to read, and watch video stories. We also bought a projector and a screen for the room, an activity board, a dry pool with balls, a game table (for playing billiards, table tennis, etc.), board games for children of different ages, toys, furniture. In addition, the library received a puppet theater.
Library visitors can study in the interactive room for free.
“Children are the most valuable thing we have. They create the future. Instead, adults should create the best conditions for them, an environment where each child will find how to realize himself – try to knit, draw, sing, play the violin, etc. and feel that it is his. Together with the Department of Culture, Nationalities and Religion, we will once again develop useful solutions this year. After all, libraries are precisely those spaces where you can nurture traditions and integrate into an erudite society. Thanks to our partners, with whom the Lviv OVA works in synergy – this year we want to resuscitate a total of 20 libraries, to demonstrate what the environment for acquiring knowledge should be,” said Ivan Sobko, deputy head of the Lviv OVA.
As Nataliya Kuzyak, manager in the social sphere of the BF “SOS Children’s Towns of Ukraine”, said, this is the first such space that was opened in the Lviv region within the framework of the initiative of the charity fund. Another 7 interactive rooms in cultural institutions of the region have already been set up and will soon be opened, in particular in Pustomyty, Drohobych, Stary Sambor, Zolochiv, Skhidnytsia, Novoyavorivsk and Boryslav.
“Thank you for the partnership. I am glad that we have a common vision and are living an important cause. This once again proves that we are ready to work for fruitful results. So far, this space is the first that we are opening in the Lviv region. Last year, we planned to create 8 such environments, so we will gradually open them. It was a wonderful decision that our foundation arranges them on the basis of libraries. After all, this is a platform for communication and development of children. This year we will celebrate 20 years of activity in Ukraine and we want to create at least 20 spaces. We have a good start, we are ready for the next steps in the field of cultural development,” Nataliya Kuzyak emphasized.
The total estimate of the project is 1 million 350 thousand hryvnias. This year, they plan to create interactive spaces in cultural institutions of the Lviv region.
During the event, the readers of the library presented a puppet show, and the librarians held a master class on making Easter eggs for the youngest visitors.
The opening of the interactive room was also attended by the director of the department for culture, nationalities and religions of the Lviv OVA Iryna Gavrylyuk and the deputy director of the department Tetyana Plugator, the first deputy head of the Yavorivska RVA Volodymyr Dzyunka, the deputy head of the Yavorivska RVA Andriy Tyndyk, the mayor of Yavorov Ihor Grabovskyi and the deputy head Vitaly Denega.
