Under the procedural leadership of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the budget received about UAH 4.5 million in value-added taxes and a single tax.
It was established that the enterprise engaged in the wholesale and retail trade of telecommunications equipment, mobile phones and accessories reflected in the tax reporting financial and economic transactions with legal and natural persons-entrepreneurs, which did not actually take place. As a result, during 2023, about 4.5 million hryvnias of tax was evaded.
In the course of the pre-trial investigation of the criminal proceedings registered on the fact of willful tax evasion in significant amounts (Part 4 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the damages were compensated in full.
The pre-trial investigation was carried out by detectives of the Territorial Administration of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Lviv region.
