Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office and the Drohobytsk District Prosecutor’s Office, four members of the organized group were informed of the suspicion. They are charged with illegal acquisition, transportation, storage and sale of narcotic drugs (Part 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in one of the colonies of Lviv Oblast, members of an organized group implemented an illegal scheme for the sale of buprenorphine among drug addicts.
The group included two people who were serving sentences and two more residents of Lviv Oblast. Roles and responsibilities were clearly divided between the participants.
The organizer ordered the “goods” and provided sales instructions. Performers who were at large supplied drugs to the prison. They delivered them by rolling them over the guarded perimeter of the colony.
After the prohibited substance entered the institution, another accomplice, who was also serving a sentence, ensured its implementation among the arrested.
As a result of the searches, money, bank cards, mobile phones, drafts and a car were found and seized from the suspects.
Investigations are ongoing.

Note: in accordance with Art. 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is considered innocent of committing a crime and cannot be subjected to criminal punishment until his guilt is proven in a legal manner and established by a court verdict.
