Drunk Range Rover Driver Caused an Accident in Lviv
Last night, a patrol crew discovered an accident at the intersection of Kulparkivska and Volodymyra Velykoho streets. The driver of a Range Rover lost control, drove onto the roundabout, and damaged the sidewalk fence.
Driver’s Alcohol Intoxication
During communication with the 33-year-old driver, inspectors identified signs of alcohol intoxication. He agreed to undergo testing with a Drager device. The result was 1.89 per mille.
Reports and Consequences
- Traffic police issued two reports to the accident perpetrator: under part 1 of Article 130 (Driving a vehicle while intoxicated) and Article 124 (Traffic rules violation leading to an accident) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
- Inspectors informed the city’s hotline about the incident and compiled a survey act of the street-road network section.
