Ancient Books Found at Polish Border
Border guards of the 7th Carpathian Border Detachment at the Rava-Ruska checkpoint discovered two ancient books with a Ukrainian citizen who attempted to take them out of Ukraine.
Details of the Discovery
- Both books are dated 1897.
- They were found in the cabin of a Skoda car among personal belongings.
Customs officials seized the books for examination to determine their cultural or historical value.
