Prosecutors of the Specialised Environmental Prosecutor’s Office (as a department) of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office have launched a pre-trial investigation into the unauthorised construction of buildings and structures on illegally occupied land plots within the coastal protection zone of Lake Zadorozhne in the territory of the Mykolaiv Territorial Community (Part 3 of Article 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The investigators of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region have been entrusted with the pre-trial investigation in the said proceedings.
Note: Pursuant to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until his or her guilt is proved in accordance with the law and established by a court verdict of guilty.
