A minor cyclist died in a collision with a car in the Lviv district – the police are investigating the circumstances of the incident
The traffic accident happened today, April 19, around 4:20 p.m., in the village of Buchaly, Lviv district.
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, there was a collision between an Audi A4 car driven by a 40-year-old resident of the Lviv district and a cyclist, a 12-year-old local resident.
The boy died at the scene from injuries received as a result of the accident.
According to the fact, the investigators of the department of investigation of crimes in the field of transport of the police of Lviv region opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment – deprivation of liberty for a term of three to eight years with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a term of up to three years or without it.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
