The other day, a Kawasaki ZX6R motorcycle, whose driver was transporting a passenger without a helmet, was stopped at the intersection of Chervonaya Kalina Avenue and Uhorska Street.
During the inspection of the documents of the 21-year-old driver, the patrol officers found that he was deprived of the right to drive due to drunken driving.
What’s more, the police found signs of a forged frame number in the vehicle. A report was drawn up against the violator under Part 5 of Article 126 (Repeated driving of a vehicle within a year by a person deprived of such a right) and issued a resolution under Part 5 of Art. 121 (Violation of the rules for the use of motorcycle helmets) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
An investigative team was called to the scene.
While the procedural actions continued, motor patrols noticed another violator. During the conversation with the 24-year-old scooter rider, the inspectors found signs of alcohol intoxication. He refused the inspection.
This is the second time in a year that he was stopped with signs of drunk driving. Two protocols were drawn up on him: Part 2 of Art. 130 (Repeated within a year driving a vehicle while intoxicated) and part 5 of Art. 126 (Repeated, within a year, driving a vehicle by a person deprived of such a right), and also issued a resolution under Part 5 of Art. 121 (Violation of the rules for the use of motorcycle helmets) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
