The traffic accident occurred on July 24, around 6:20 p.m., on Zubrivska Street in Lviv
As previously established by the law enforcement officers, the driver of the Renault Trafic minibus, a 49-year-old resident of Lviv, hit a pedestrian, a seven-year-old local resident.
As a result of the accident, the boy was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the fact, investigators of the territorial division of the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of traffic safety rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided for by the article is up to three years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
Law enforcement officers are establishing the circumstances of the incident.
