Motorcycle Collision in Lviv Region: Two Injured, Including a Minor
The road traffic accident occurred on March 12, at around 21:30, in the village of Hrushiv, Drohobych district.
Details of the Accident
According to preliminary findings by law enforcement officers, there was a collision involving a Haojin Zeus150 motorcycle, driven by a 21-year-old local resident, and a Senke SK300, driven by a 14-year-old resident of Drohobych.
Consequences of the Accident
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Haojin Zeus150 and the passenger of the Senke SK300, a 14-year-old resident of Drohobych, sustained bodily injuries and were hospitalized in the intensive care unit.
Investigators from the Drohobych District Police Department have initiated a criminal proceeding under Part 1 of Article 286 (Violation of Road Traffic Safety Rules) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty provided by the article’s sanctions is up to three years of restricted freedom, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for up to three years.
