Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his condolences to all those who lost relatives and friends as a result of the attack of Russian terrorists on Kostyantynivka, informed about the results of a number of important international events.
Dear Ukrainians, Ukrainian women!
Today is a difficult day. As of this time, more than 30 people were wounded in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region, after the attack by Russian terrorists. 16 people were killed. My condolences to all those who have lost loved ones! All services were working at the site of the impact, clearing debris and rescuing people.
I am grateful to everyone in the world who condemned this latest manifestation of Russian evil and supports Ukraine, our people. And it is very important that the answer to Russian terror was exclusively an even greater consolidation of the world. Every manifestation of such consolidation really helps save lives.
Today in Ukraine, in Kyiv, there are several important international events. Visits of partners. Denmark – Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. United States – Secretary of State Blinken. The First Ladies and Gentlemen of the Partner States who took part in this year’s Summit – and this is the third First Ladies and Gentlemen Summit – is devoted to a very important and sensitive topic, namely, how we get through this war, how our hearts and souls survive the war. Therefore, how to overcome the pain of war. Mental health, the mental resilience of people, is something that needs work as much as any other manifestation of our resilience.
Today, I addressed the leaders of the Trimore summit, a large region that is one of the sources of European strength. The Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea are all countries in our part of Europe. The summit was held in Romania. I called on all our partners, our neighbors to continue to protect unity in Europe.
We have new defense arrangements for this day. New political and humanitarian agreements. We are also preparing a new international communication, so that this week, from the point of view of our foreign policy work, will add more activity. So that our soldiers, all our people feel more strengthened.
