Almost 7 thousand students joined the project of Lviv OVA and UMSA Lviv “Listen to the doctor”: how to join

The project has been implemented in Lviv Oblast for two years.

As part of the “Listen to the Doctor” project, medical students in the format of lectures tell schoolchildren about the basics of a healthy lifestyle, prevention of the most common diseases and the importance of taking care of one’s health. Before lectures, students are trained by project experts (doctors, teachers, etc.).

Over the course of two years, 6,700 students joined the project.

“To convey information about healthy nutrition, mental health support, the basics of puberty. Learn to provide first aid. Volunteers of the Hear the Doctor project have been coming to the schools of Lviv Oblast for two years with such good motives. During this time, 6,700 students received new knowledge and skills in an interactive and accessible form.

Among the volunteers are medical students who are close to the younger generation and create a trusting atmosphere in order to convey important information and answer all the questions the students are interested in. All volunteers undergo training before giving lectures and have mentors – medical experts from the health care department of the Lviv OVA”, said the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
