On Thursday, November 17, the first plenary meeting of the 22nd session of the Chervonograd City Council took place. It was held in operational mode, taking into account the possibility of an air strike and power outage. Therefore, the planned agenda was shortened, consideration of some issues was postponed to the second plenary session.
Therefore, the deputies approved the candidacy of Nadiya Tkachyk for the post of mayor of the Volsvy district, who received the required number of votes (306) during the public discussion. She was also included in the executive committee of the Chervonograd City Council.
The changes to the budget of the Chervonograd City Territorial Community, approved at the session, provide for an additional allocation of UAH 7,790,000 to the chief manager of funds to the executive committee of the Chervonograd City Council. This money, in particular, will be used to purchase tents for heating stations (300,000 UAH), a cargo minibus (1,300,000 UAH). UAH 5,800,000 is allocated to the territorial defense financial support program (purchase of anti-drone guns, quadcopters, thermal imagers, Starlink equipment, diesel generators).
Additionally, UAH 4,335,000 was allocated for the financial support of the TO-910 military unit, and UAH 5,000,000 was allocated for the reconstruction of the reception department of the city hospital.
After approving these and other changes to the current year’s budget, the deputies approved the 2023 budget. The amount of income in it is determined at the level of UAH 795,500,000. The draft decision provides for an educational subvention in the amount of UAH 156,260,000 and a reverse subsidy in the amount of UAH 12,990,300. The forecast of the amount of revenues of the general fund, excluding official transfers, is determined in the amount of UAH 617,977,000. The largest specific weight in expenses (66.3%) is the salary with accruals.
Deputies voted to allocate UAH 270,000 for the treatment of soldiers injured as a result of Russian aggression, as well as UAH 120,800 in the form of assistance to citizens who find themselves in difficult life circumstances.
The session approved the draft decision on renaming streets in the Chervonograd urban territorial community. Namely, in Chervonohrad Pushkin Street was renamed to Muzeyn Street, and on May 9 to Bichna Shakhtarska Street. In Hirnik – Gagarin Street on Chornovola, Gagarin Lane on Chornovola, Popovycha Street on Stepan Bandera, Sakharov on Myroslav Skoryk. In Boryatina – Gagarin street on Pavel Palyushinskyi and Kuzma Pelekhatoy street on Vasyl Filipchuk.
Taking into account the results of the city-wide survey, as well as the conditions of martial law and the difficult situation with electricity supply, the Christmas tree will not be installed in Chervonograd this year. Instead, the main square of the city will be decorated with a Christmas tree and Santa Claus.
