The Interregional Center for Vocational Education in Artistic Modeling and Design has organized free sewing courses for IDPs, after which they will be able to get a job. In the future, there are also plans to conduct training in the professions of “assistant cook” and “hairdresser”
As of yesterday, March 22, the Interregional Center for Vocational Education in Artistic Modeling and Design launched a free training to obtain basic competencies in the profession of “Seamstress” for internally displaced persons temporarily living in the dormitory. Already 9 women have started training. After graduation (which is about 2 weeks), they will receive a certificate and the opportunity to work.
“These women have nowhere to go, they lost their jobs, so they wanted to gain new skills. We invited them to obtain the initial qualification of a seamstress so that they could adapt faster. We started free courses from this profile, because we already have communication with employers who promise to employ them after training, “said Natalia Overko, director of the Center for Vocational Education in Art Modeling and Design.
Masters of industrial training of this educational institution will also conduct courses in the professions of “assistant cook” and “hairdresser”. After these courses, IDPs will also be able to find employment.
All displaced Ukrainians are invited to such exercises.

It will be recalled that the Center for Support of Forced Displaced Ukrainians was opened in Lviv, where you can get legal advice and help in finding a job.
“Since Saturday, we have opened a Center for Support of Internally Displaced Ukrainians. It aims to provide legal assistance and job search for Ukrainians who have been forced to come from cities where genocide by the enemy is taking place. And we see how many legal issues arise, including the restoration of documents, which are very critical and necessary for further life and employment.
In the first days we have already received 398 appeals, most of them from Kharkiv and Kyiv. The main focus of appeals is on job search. We now have about 1.5 thousand vacancies that we can offer. This ranges from technical to service vacancies: utility engineers, parking attendants, as well as bakers, employees of beauty salons, “said Andriy Moskalenko, First Deputy Mayor of Lviv.
