In Lviv, they are looking for people willing to help fulfill the dreams of children affected by the war

By St. Nicholas Day, the “Relatives” charitable foundation has collected children’s letters and is looking for those willing to help make small dreams come true.

The charity event #Николай’s Leaf gives an opportunity to become Nicholas’ helpers for children who suffered as a result of the war and for those who are in difficult life circumstances. To do this, you need to choose a child’s letter, which is posted on the foundation’s pages, and bring a gift by December 5.

“The war continues, and our children continue their childhood, and most of them dream of a holiday and gifts from Nicholas. We really want to take care of children, in particular those who suffered from the war and were forced to leave their homes. This action is aimed at uniting benefactors, partners and everyone who cares and to fulfill their childhood dreams, which they wrote about in their letters,” says the director of the fund Maryana Romanyak.

The team of the “Relatives” foundation, together with its partners, did not stand aside and also became Mykola’s assistants.

“The stories of the families and children we want to support are amazing. Among them are families who moved with their children from the east of Ukraine during the full-scale war, there are those who completely lost all their property due to shelling and are starting life anew, despite the psychological trauma they received. These children need new positive emotions and the feeling that they are cared for. That is why this promotion is a great opportunity to give them not only gifts, but also a feeling of support and care,” says Nadiya Matsibroda, manager of work with families in difficult life circumstances.

There are no limits to children’s dreams, so if the letter is about gadgets, the organizers emphasize that it is not necessary to give them as gifts. You can make a gift according to your own capabilities, according to the interests of the child.

The promotion lasts until December 5. Details on the foundation’s Facebook page.
