Three family-type houses from Lysychansk moved to Lviv and started a new life here. Video

There are 41 children in their family. For some time, they lived under constant shelling, and eventually managed to evacuate from Lysychansk to Lviv. Here they were received at the Saint John Bosco Youth Center.

Natali Aleshko’s mother once created the first family-type orphanage in Lysychansk. And later Natalya herself and her two sisters continued their mother’s work, so now there are 41 children in their large family. In Lysychansk, they lived under constant shelling, in a cellar, drying crackers and drinking technical water.

“They bought bread, cut it into pieces and dried it in the oven. Water was collected in baths and barrels. We slept next to each other – dressed and with shoes on,” shares Natalya Aleshko, a migrant from Lysychansk, mother of a family-type children’s home.

Natalia’s husband is currently defending Ukraine at the front. And her daughter Maria draws dad and his guardian angels, because she believes that her dad is under reliable protection.

In the Saint John Bosco Youth Center, they started a new life, where their fathers help them. Nataliya’s adopted daughter Darina shares: “We have grown 74 tomato bushes, cucumbers are already growing. Our fathers laughed at us, saying: “You will be in the garden even during the war.” “Well, so what,” I say. “We need to do something, distract ourselves somehow.”

Everyone who cares can help the family – with money or maybe someone will offer a house for further living. After all, the stay at the center is temporary (one year). The family itself fears that they will have nowhere to return to after the war.
