From February 26 to March 2, American plastic surgeons, together with Ukrainian colleagues, will conduct consultations for children with deformities and neoplasms of the face and body at the St. Nicholas First Children’s Hospital of the Lviv Medical Association.
In particular, children with: cleft lip and palate will be consulted; speech disorders with cleft palate; Poland syndrome; deformation of the nose and ears; facial paralysis; burns; scars on the face; lipomas; congenital nevi; disease of mammary glands.
Specialists are also ready to undertake the elimination of the sequence of Pierre Robin, maxillary and mandibular osteotomy and craniosynostosis, other defects and diseases that lead to deformations and distortions of the body.
After a preliminary consultation, a team of American-Ukrainian plastic surgeons will select and operate on the most difficult patients.
