The oncology department of the Chervonograd Central City Hospital received a new source of ionizing radiation for the Agat-R1 device, which is used to provide radiation therapy to cancer patients.
We will remind that in August, deputies of the Chervonograd City Council voted to allocate UAH 11,500,000 for the purchase of this device. Without a source of ionizing radiation, patients who need radiation therapy would not be able to receive it.
By the way, in the Lviv region, only doctors of the Chervonograd Hospital and the Lviv Regional Cancer Center can use radiation therapy.
