The events in Poltava cause deep pain and sorrow. Each strike on the peaceful city leaves indelible wounds in the hearts and memories of local residents.
Regrettably, the number of fatalities as a result of the distressing events has increased to five. Additionally, according to the latest data, 14 local residents were injured, including three children. Fortunately, thanks to the prompt work of the rescuers, 22 people were saved.
Currently, emergency rescue operations are actively continuing at the scene. With the efforts of the rescuers, the fire was localized in separate areas. Teams of canine handlers and psychologists from the State Emergency Service are tirelessly working, providing necessary support and assistance to the affected individuals.
