Briefly about the main things from yesterday that the residents of Lviv region should know about
The air alarm was activated three times. Thank you to our air defense fighters who kept the sky calm over the Lviv region.
In two cases there was a threat of a missile strike from the Black Sea, in the third – from russia’s strategic aircraft in the southeast.
During the day, another 212 people from other regions who were forced to flee their homes were resettled. As of
February 24, 339,000 people have been sheltered, according to official figures alone.
231,000 people were registered as internally displaced persons in the EIBD. Around 73 thousand from them are children.
Almost 19,000 people left the Lviv region using it’s crossings.
As of 09:00, there are queues at all checkpoints, namely: Uhryniv – cars on both sides of the border, buses on the out-bound side; “Rava-Ruska” – trucks on the out-bound side; “Hrushiv” and “Smilnytsia” – cars on the inbound side; “Krakivets” – cars for entry, trucks in both directions; “Shegyni” – cars and trucks for departure and entry, buses for entry.
Lviv Region Police processed 1,448 complaints about suspicious people and objects.
