The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, spoke about the key events of the past week.
“At the place of the bridge, which was destroyed by bad weather on June 10, in Skhidnytsia, on Kropyvnytskyi street in the direction of Novy Kropyvnyk, a temporary structure was erected. Therefore, it is already possible to drive through this section, but only for vehicles weighing up to 8 tons. In the Drohobytskyi and Stryisky districts, they continue to work on eliminating the consequences of bad weather,” said the head of the Lviv Oblast.
The first pre-frontline dental care clinic in Ukraine was opened in Novoyavorivsk. Here, volunteer dentists will provide free dental care to mobilized soldiers in the following areas: hygiene, therapy, endodontics, surgery (extraction). The cost of the clinic at market prices is 150,000 dollars. Thanks to philanthropists, volunteers and specialists in the dental field who supported the idea, everything cost 80 thousand dollars.
“48 children of Ukrainian defenders from Lviv, Mariupol, Melitopol and Kramatorsk went to Italy for summer leisure. The program includes excursions around Calabria, rest at the seaside, theatrical performances, dances, flash mobs, sports competitions, games. They planned a lot of leisure time with their Italian peers. It was possible to implement this thanks to the cooperation of the Lviv OVA, the NOVUS chain of stores, the international mining company “Avellana Gold Ltd” and the CHARACTER PARK complex,” Maksym Kozytskyi informed.

“Lviv region got rid of 62 objects of Soviet propaganda. During this week, the monuments were dismantled in Bily Kamen of Zolochiv district, in the villages of Velike Kolodno, Remeniv, Zhovtansi, Vyriv, Zibolka, and Vyazov of Lviv district,” added the head of the Lviv OVA.
A center for assistance to victims of domestic and gender-based violence has opened in Chervonohrad. Complex socio-psychological and primary legal assistance, as well as social services to victims, will be provided here. Women with children who come to the center will be able to stay in a specially equipped room for a short time or 24 hours a day. A mobile team of social and psychological assistance will work on the basis of the Center, which will promptly respond to cases of violence recorded by law enforcement officers and where the help of specialists is needed.
