Reconstruction of the street Pylypa Orlyka is nearing completion and will soon be open to traffic. Additionally, as part of the street reconstruction, another 62 parking spaces will be provided near the children’s hospital on the street. P. Orlyka, 4. The relevant decision was taken today by the executive committee of the LMR.
“According to the project on the street P. Orlyk, we equipped 100 parking spaces. However, they saw that there were not enough of them, and more cars were parked there. Therefore, an additional 62 parking spaces will be provided. We will also install paths for groups with reduced mobility and carry out improvements near the children’s hospital,” explained Mykola Vlasyuk, director of Lvivavtodor LKP.
We will remind you that the renovation project of St. Pylyp Orlyk, on the plot from St. Faith, Hope, Love to house No. 2 was developed by LKP “Institute of Spatial Development” in 2019.
The total cost of the work in accordance with the contract between Lvivavtodor LLP and Onur Construction International LLC is UAH 74.8 million.
The reconstruction project provides for the expansion of the roadway with the installation of a new asphalt concrete surface with one lane for movement in each direction, the installation of sidewalks and bicycle infrastructure (bicycle lanes and bicycle crossings), the arrangement of parking spaces for cars along the street, the arrangement of a public transport stop and the arrangement of a garbage site, the arrangement of a support walls near the hospital, reconstruction of water and sewage networks, outdoor lighting and power supply networks, etc.
The street is planned to be opened to traffic next week.
