Chervonogradvodokanal is updating its resources and capabilities
Thanks to the cooperation of the local authorities with the German company GIZ, as part of the Project Transformation of the Coal Regions of Ukraine, KP “Chervonogradvodokanal” received 10 pumping units, frequency control devices and soft start devices of leading European manufacturers.
The total cost of the equipment is UAH 3.6 million. It will be installed at the Pravdynskyi, Mezhyrichanskyi and Sosnivskyi water intakes.
According to the director of the enterprise Volodymyr Soldat, the equipment currently used is quite worn out, it had to be restarted every 4 hours.
Due to this, emergency situations arose. Therefore, the new equipment will work around the clock. Thanks to frequency control devices, the set pressure in the water supply network will be maintained.
This will significantly improve water supply and reduce energy consumption, noted the head of “Vodokanal”.
