As usual, the children’s railway will operate every weekend for Lviv residents and guests of the city.
Today, June 3, Lviv Children’s Railway started another season, which this year became the 72nd, of train movements. The solemn opening of the season of passenger transportation was attended by many citizens and guests of Lviv who became passengers on the first flight of the Viterets train this year and traveled through the picturesque landscapes of Stryi Park.
This year, 350 children volunteered for training and practical training in the “Young Railwayman” group, almost 240 of them became “first-year students”. Experienced masters will work with young railway workers, and the children will consolidate the acquired knowledge in real production conditions.
As usual, the Lviv Children’s Railway will operate for Lviv residents and city guests every weekend from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The price of a ride on the “Viterets” train from the “Sonyachna” station (from Stryyska St.) to the “Parkova” station for adult passengers is UAH 38, for children – UAH 19.
