The manufacturer offered to supply 13 buses for UAH 126 million.
On August 17, KP “Uzhgorod Municipal Transport” announced a tender for the purchase of 12-meter low-floor buses with an initial cost of UAH 137.3 million. According to the technical characteristics, it is a bus with a diesel engine of eco-standard not lower than “Euro 5” with three double doors, designed for more than 90 passengers with 27 seats. The bus should be manufactured no earlier than 2023 and delivered to Uzhhorod by the end of 2024.
Three companies took part in the auction, which took place on September 11: LLC “Bas Motor”, LLC “Zernotrade” and LLC “Zavod ElectronMash”. The cheapest offer was submitted by the Lviv plant – UAH 126 million [approximately UAH 9.7 million for one bus].
The company “ElectronMash Plant” is part of the “Electron” corporation and was established more than 11 years ago. Production is located in Lviv. Most of the company belongs to PJSC “Concern Electron”, also shares are owned by PE “Euroleasing”, LLC “Dialog Plus”, LLC “Electrontrans” and LLC “Avtotransmarket”.
