At the same time, the institution emphasizes that at this time Lvivoblenergo has not received any orders from NEC “Ukrenergo” to implement certain blackout schedules.
A large-scale repair campaign is underway at Ukrainian power plants to prepare for the next heating season, NEC Ukrenergo informs.
Power units undergoing repairs will not be able to generate electricity for some time. Also, this summer, the volume of work will be larger than in previous years due to Russian attacks on energy facilities last fall and winter. That is why in the summer period there may be a shortage of power in the power system and, as a result, the need to implement schedules.
PJSC “Lvivoblenergo” has developed updated electricity shutdown schedules, taking into account the specifics of the summer period and the projected capacity deficit.
Consumers are divided into six groups that correspond to queues in the schedule of hourly outages — 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, 3.1 and 3.2.
At the same time, the duration of shutdowns, which is provided by the schedules, has decreased.

We emphasize that hourly shutdowns have not been implemented at the moment.
In the event of an order by NEC “Ukrenergo” to introduce schedules, we will immediately inform about it on the official resources of PrJSC “Lvivoblenergo” – the website, pages in social networks, chatbots and online services.
You can avoid the introduction of schedules if you reduce the use of electricity during the morning and evening peak loads (07:00 – 12:00 and 18:00 – 23:00). That is why energy experts ask all consumers to rationally use electricity:
– if possible, transfer the use of powerful devices from peak morning and evening hours to night, when consumption is low;
– try not to turn on powerful appliances at the same time (for example, a boiler and a washing machine);
– do not turn on the air conditioner during peak consumption hours. When using an air conditioner, set it to a higher temperature than you are used to;
– boil as much water as you need at a specific time. If you have a gas stove, it is better to boil water on it.
