The international youth organization AIESEC in Ukraine invites everyone to participate in the global initiative “The Biggest Lesson in the World” to inspire young people to become the generation that will change the world.
“World’s Largest Lesson” is a global initiative created by Project Everyone and UNICEF, which is aimed at spreading awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals among youth and children.
In Lviv Oblast, in addition to the regional center, lessons are currently planned to be held in Chervonohrad Oblast and Stryi Oblast. In total, it is planned to hold lessons in 24 schools of the region. For this, 250 ambassadors will be selected.
Within this year’s event, two goals of sustainable development are revealed, which relate to:
Education as the most powerful means of sustainable development;
Creation of sustainable infrastructure, promotion of comprehensive and sustainable industrialization and innovation;
Modernization of residential units of citizens in conditions of war.
To join the event, you need to register using the link, go through a short selection process and become an ambassador. An ambassador is a person who, within the framework of the project, will conduct a lesson for children in schools. Ambassadors conduct lessons in pairs. A preparatory conference is waiting for them, which will be held on April 22, and the actual lesson, which will be held at a convenient time from April 24 to 30.
A proactive person between the ages of 16 and 30 who wants to join a large-scale event, find like-minded people and influence the future of our country can become an ambassador. The ambassador will have the opportunity to overcome the fear of public speaking and learn to feel at ease in front of a large audience, teaching experience, which will be confirmed by an appropriate certificate, the opportunity to make his own contribution to the development of the educational sector of Ukraine, and help from AIESEC in Ukraine with preparation and finding a partner for conducting the lesson.
