As of October 17 of this year, 1,117 people in the Lviv region received a voucher for training to maintain the level of competitiveness in the labor market.
“Psychology”, “secondary education (by specializations)”, “social work” and “nursing” dominated among the specialties in which they decided to improve their professional competence. In terms of labor professions, the courses of cooks, woodworking machine operators and forklift drivers were in the greatest demand.
“Almost one hundred forced migrants received vouchers for training this year,” said director of the Lviv Regional Employment Center, Vasyl Barilyuk. – Half of them will undergo training in the specialty “psychology”.
According to him, other persons who arrived in Lviv Oblast from areas of active hostilities or temporarily occupied territories chose such fields as “pre-school education”, “marketing”, “entrepreneurship”, “trade and exchange activities”, “food technology”, “nursing”, “social work”, “tourism”, “medicine”, “agronomy”, “construction and civil engineering”, etc.
We will remind that internally displaced persons, former military personnel and representatives of other categories of the population who are not registered as unemployed in the employment centers have the right to a voucher for training in one of the 124 approved professions or specialties. Its value cannot be more than 10 times the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons (today it is UAH 26,840). If the cost of education exceeds this value, the employer or individual pays the difference independently. You can apply for a voucher online (https://is.gd/quzCHf).
