Transplantation and birth of a child: despite the morning shelling, the city’s medical establishments continued to work

As a result of the morning attack of the enemy, there were problems with electricity supply in Lviv – 90% of the city was deactivated. Heat supply and partially water supply were stopped. The electric transport stopped.

However, medical institutions, using diesel generators, continued to assist community residents. The mayor of Lviv told this during a briefing.

“What pleases me that in our medical institutions, even when stable power supply has been missing, dieselgeneration automatically turned on. And all those operations that lasted were successfully completed. At the Hospital of St. Panteleimon, a transplantation ended – surgeons were sewed a donor liver to the sounds of air anxiety, a baby was born in our hospital on Orlik, and surgical actions were also born in 8 hospital. This is such a maximum stability, ” – said the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy.
