In the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital, one of the resuscitation rooms of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care No. 1 was opened after renovation
Despite the repair work, the department did not stop working, as it receives patients not only from the city, but from the entire region and Ukraine. Only part of the department was closed for reconstruction, the other part continued to treat patients.
It was possible to repair and equip the department thanks to the joint efforts of the regional clinical hospital, the Board of Trustees of the hospital, the Lviv OVA and the Lviv Regional Council, the chain of shopping centers “Epicenters”. The cost of repair works was about UAH 300,000.
“We are grateful to all those who helped implement such an important matter. We thank the director of the health care department of the regional administration, Orest Chemeris, because thanks to the distribution of the department, we received ventilators and patient monitors. I want to thank the head of the Board of Trustees of the hospital, Andrii Gudzovat, for the quality lighting. Our friends – the chain of shopping centers “Epicentr” – joined this event. We are also grateful to the Lviv Regional Council for their support.
A new modern x-ray machine will also be operational in the department. So we do everything to provide quality care to our patients and strive to be the best!” – said Mykhailo Hychka, general director of the Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital.
According to Oleg Pivny, the head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care No. 1, the department receives complex patients with the most severe manifestations of diseases and acute life-threatening conditions.
“Such patients need resuscitation support and round-the-clock medical care. Now comfortable conditions have been created here not only for patients, but also for medical personnel. The new premises have been renovated taking into account modern requirements for intensive care units, they are spacious, bright and equipped with modern equipment,” Oleg Piven noted.
“All our great words about happiness subside and pale in front of a single word – illness. And when the patient gets to the hospital, he must receive not only professional medical care, but also be in good conditions. A team approach and modern equipment are the key to successful treatment. I am sure that here they will be able to take care of people’s health and save even more lives,” said Orest Chemerys, director of the health care department of the Lviv OVA.
