Seasonal viral infections continue to persist in the Drohobych region. According to information provided by Svyatoslav Kucheryavy, the deputy head of the health department, 515 new cases of illnesses were recorded in the community over the past week.
- The most affected age groups were 5-14 years (145 individuals) and 30-64 years (197 individuals).
- A positive development was the decrease in hospitalization rates — only 6 patients with complications were hospitalized.
- In total, 580 people with various diagnoses were admitted to medical facilities.
- There were 19 cases of heart attacks and 17 strokes recorded.
During the week, 103 surgeries were performed, 44 of which were urgent. In the maternity ward, 15 newborns were delivered — seven boys and eight girls.
