Artemiy Dymyd from Lviv was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage”

Artemiy-Yuliyan Dymyd is a Ukrainian public activist, platoon fighter, traveler, parachutist, participant in the Revolution of Dignity, military serviceman, senior sailor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, participant in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Artemiy Dymyd from Lviv received the Order “For Courage” III degree (posthumously)

The son of the icon painter Ivanka Dymyd-Krypyakevich and the first rector of UCU Father Mykhailo Dymyd, a senior sailor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died in June of last year during mortar fire.

This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.

Artemiy’s great-grandfather, the historian Ivan Krypyakevich, was an associate of the President of the Ukrainian People’s Republic Mykhailo Hrushevskyi. The second grandfather, UGCC priest Artemiy Tsegelsky, was taken to Siberia by the Soviet authorities.
