Tomorrow, Lviv Region will say goodbye to Hero Nazar Yatskiv, a native of Chervonograd

On Tuesday, May 30, Lviv will say goodbye to Hero Nazar Yatskiv, who defended Ukraine from the Russian invaders.

The City Hall calls on Lviv residents and guests to join the city’s farewell ceremony and to refrain from entertainment events and celebrations during this time.

The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul, at 11:30 a city farewell ceremony will take place on Rynok Square. The Hero will be buried in the village of Kulychkiv, Chervonograd District, Lviv Region.

Studied at Gymnasium No. 3 of the Chervonograd City Council of the Lviv Region. Studied at the Lviv State University of Life Safety.

After completing his studies, he served in the field of civil defense in Kropyvnytskyi for 3 years. After returning to the Lviv region, he worked as the head of the guard of the State Fire and Rescue Station-56 in Sudova Vyshna. Subsequently, he engaged in entrepreneurial activities in the field of trade.

In his free time, he was fond of fishing and riding motorcycles.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the Motherland. He was seriously wounded while performing combat missions in the eastern direction.

Nazar Yatskiv is survived by his 9-year-old daughter, parents, brother, ex-wife, mother-in-law, relatives and other relatives.
