On May 12, in the premises of the children’s and youth club “MRIYA.TY”, the “Diplomata” organization together with the “Children’s Service” department of the humanitarian policy department of the Lviv City Council held a “Charity breakfast” for children and adolescents deprived of parental care.
The breakfast was opened by Andrii Demchuk, champion of the Paralympic Games, Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, who talked about his sports career, charged the children with motivational stories and conducted a small fencing master class.
In addition to Andriy, the event was attended by Volodymyr Frydak, acting the head of the “Children’s Service”, who noted the importance of such measures: children, and especially teenagers, who are deprived of parental attention, face many problems, including self-rejection, finding their place in the world, and trying to understand their future. Today, these issues are acute, so at the city level, we constantly attract resources to help them. An important role is played by charitable organizations, in cooperation with which developing projects are born and psychological assistance is provided, among them are “Diplomats”, which implement large-scale humanitarian support.
The participation of partners was very valuable in the organization of the children’s holiday: the McDonald’s chain, the producer of craft ice cream “Fine Lodi” treated the children with their favorite goodies, and the producer of the best cheesecakes and desserts Cheese Bakery spoiled the children with amazing sweets.
Well-known Lviv makeup artist Olga Tokarenko created make-up for the girls and shared her beauty secrets. In turn, the athletes of FC “Rukh” became a source of motivation for the boys, who answered all the boys’ questions about football and presented them with excellent branded t-shirts.
A real furore was the flash mob organized by the choreographer of the Las Chicas ballet Khrystyna Mudrak to the song of the famous pop-rock band “Antitila” – these musicians, moreover, recorded a personal video message for the children.
Holiday partners Hollyskin and Lamel Сosmetics also prepared interesting gifts for girls.
Yury Popiv was the host of the breakfast, the atmosphere of comfort and special style was created by decorator Anna-Maria Molonchak.
“Active development and activities where they can meet and learn new things are very important for children. That is why our organization unites responsible business and the public sector to solve social problems. For children left without parental care, this support means a lot. It is very important that these measures become systematic and attract more responsible businesses,” says Mila Yarosevich, a member of the Diplomats organization.
The “Diplomata” organization is grateful to everyone who continues to support Ukrainians and the country!
Volunteers conduct regular fund-raising as part of projects aimed at supporting Ukrainians left in difficult life circumstances, displaced persons, and children, and also supports hospitals in front-line areas.
